GEMS from HEAVEN: Revelation 4:3; 21:10-21
You may not have had anyone setting a good example for you in your life. Now, you find yourself drifting, struggling, and not knowing how you ought to live.
Here is the GEM: Jesus, became a man, He was God's incarnate message, His Word to humanity. He lived a perfect life of godliness. It was "an overflowing demonstration of divine grace and truth". He showed us the kind of life that God could and would help us to live if we follow in His footsteps. Indeed, they are big steps to follow, but with God’s help, we can do it.
For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH; and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously...
