GEMS from HEAVEN: Revelation 4:3; 21:10-21
Even though our eyes for the most part will adjust during the night, we still prefer light to be able to see where we are going. How many of us at one time another has missed finding an item, stubbed our toe and bumped our head due to inadequate lighting? It is the same way in life; we do not see the deceptiveness of sin and what it can do to our lives.
Here is the GEM: Christ shows and teaches us how we ought to live. He shines the light on sin, its deception and its destruction to us if we travel down that path. Following Him; we will see and know where we are going: we will not miss what we truly are looking for and we will receive what we need to live a faithful life to our heavenly Father.
“Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."
