GEMS from HEAVEN: Revelation 4:3; 21:10-21
So often we are quick to take matters into our own hands thinking that we know what is best. We step out on our own power and might. We panic thinking that life is passing us by and we end up putting the cart before the horse, i.e. words, messing things up.
Here is the GEM: to do things the right way; finding a mate, rearing a family, dealing with others and worshiping God Himself, we must wait on Him. Why? It shows our dependence, obedience, love and hope for the best are in Him. Therefore, we need not worry or despair for His way of life will preserve us as we follow His will. Now that is worth the wait on Him.
Guard my soul and deliver me; Do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You.
