GEMS from HEAVEN: Revelation 4:3; 21:10-21
Have you ever felt that you have been misled? There are many of us who have been following fables, old wives tales for years. When we have done our own studying and research we have found out that it was not true. A greater travesty is those being mislead to do evil and walk in the path of destruction. They pass on this evil counsel to the young and unsuspecting. Their lives are miserable, no peace within. Their view of people is tainted, filled with hate and bitterness.
Here is the GEM: if one delight in the truth, and walk in the counsel of God, he or she will have a different outlook towards others. Hate and bitterness will be removed and replaced with peace; joy, love, and confidence of knowing that he or she is blessed. Now the question remains, what is your delight?
How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers.
