GEMS from HEAVEN
Have you ever felt that no one understood your plight or frailties? How about your weaknesses? Sometimes the feeling is so overwhelming we think that we are the only one going through the tough challenges of life.
Here is the GEM: the Christ understands our plight and frailties. He was tempted in all points as we have, but He was successful, i.e. He committed no sin. He is able to show us how to be successful when we are tempted or even how to overcome when we have fallen. Now that is a great friend to have.
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.
Hebrews 4:14-15
