GEM from HEAVEN
We may not realize it, but the human touch is very impactful. The child that injures themselves and runs to mommy and mommy touches or kisses it makes it all better. The hugs, the handshakes, the high-fives, the holding of hands indicate so many things such as affection, trust, courage, joy, friendship and love.
Here is the GEM: there is nothing more powerful and impactful than the touch of the Master’s hand. In the touch of Jesus our Lord, there is the healing of the soul, the courage to overcome fear and the hope of heaven. Let us seek the Lord that we may be touched by His love for us so that we may obey His word, be cleansed of sin and made whole.
And a leper *came to Jesus, beseeching Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying, "If You are willing, You can make me clean." Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, and *said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.
