GEM from HEAVEN
Things of this life are bound to decay and perish. We see and feel the decay of our once youthful, athletic and energetic body which makes us aware that one day it too shall perish.
Here is the GEM: those of us who obey the voice of the Lord and follow Him will never perish. Yes the body will decay and go back to the dust from whence it came, but our soul will live forever with God. This, my friend, is heaven. Now, isn’t His voice worth listening to?
"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
John 10:27-29
