GEM from HEAVEN
How many of us have shied away from admitting a mistake for fear of being ridiculed? How many of us have been kicked while down from confessing our wrongs? How about the fear of being looked down upon by others? There is probably that fear in each of us.
Here is the GEM: God who knows our weaknesses and fears has provided us with a Savior who will deal with us kindly as we admit our faults to Him. He knows that we are like a crushed plant by the sin in our lives. By approaching Jesus the Christ with a contrite heart with a desire to obey Him, He will and does restore hope in us because of what He has done for us; crucified on the cross. Isaiah the prophet prophesied about this servant of God long ago. It was fulfilled long ago but still stands today. Now is the time to take advantage His mercy that He provides.
"He will not cry out or raise His voice, Nor make His voice heard in the street. "A bruised reed He will not break And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish; He will faithfully bring forth justice.
