GEM from HEAVEN
In the midst of struggles and hard times, it is challenging to see what good can come from such situations. Many become blinded to the great strength to gain and lessons to be learned; they throw in the towel even as God is right there for them.
Here is the GEM: in every situation we need to see the loving-kindness of God who sees us through such hard times. Families increase in size and strength; food is place on the table all because of their belief and trust in God. Later, the house is filled with lessons of praise, joy and laughter for their God who has seen them through. Oh that we all may be wise to observe God’s loving-kindness in our lives so that we may rejoice in Him.
But He sets the needy securely on high away from affliction, And makes his families like a flock. The upright see it and are glad; But all unrighteousness shuts its mouth. Who is wise? Let him give heed to these things, And consider the loving-kindnesses of the LORD.
Psalms 107:41-43
