GEM from HEAVEN
We have our leaders of nations with all kinds of views and moral standards. It is difficult to choose from time to time which one is the best. We usually approach it from the stand point of the lesser of two evils. So, what is another approach to help us make a good choice?
Here is the GEM: we need a tried and true standard of leadership and that is Jesus, the true leader. So, when a leader is sought, how about the one who comes closest to the leadership of Christ? After all, God anointed Him above everyone else.
But of the Son He says, "YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM. "YOU HAVE LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HATED LAWLESSNESS; THEREFORE GOD, YOUR GOD, HAS ANOINTED YOU WITH THE OIL OF GLADNESS ABOVE YOUR COMPANIONS."
