GEMS From HEAVEN
There are things that have happened too many of us, some more horrifying than others. It can leave one’s heart filled with bitterness. That bitterness can be destructive for what it does to the mind and heart.
Here is the GEM: if we let God take hold of our hand, He will cleanse our heart and fill it with His counsel that will guide us through the fog of destruction to His eternal home. Bitterness is not worth missing out on the glories God has prepared for those who abide in the counsel of His will.
When my heart was embittered And I was pierced within, Then I was senseless and ignorant; I was like a beast before You. Nevertheless I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand. With Your counsel You will guide me, And afterward receive me to glory.
