GEMS From HEAVEN
The roughest seas or the small iceberg can tear the most well made ship apart. And so it is with the ways and wisdom of men. In the fiercest times of life, one can be reduced to pieces. Even the so-called smallest of sin reduces us from where we ought to be. So what can we do to be made whole and maintain through the onslaughts of life?
Here is the GEM: Paul, guided by the Spirit, sums it up in one person, CHRIST. Our Creator’s wisdom of instructions helps us through such difficulties in life. In spite of the devastating impact of sin, His creation still holds together. His death and resurrection brought that which was divided together in one body. Therefore, if we want to be put back together and maintain, we must be in Him for He is where all things holds together, not by our own power and might but by His.
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
Colossians 1:17-18
