GEM from HEAVEN
It is hard to rejoice when you are going through difficulties. Yes it is easy when things are going well and people are saying wonderful things about you. But what is our attitude when things are not going well? What do we think of God when our circumstances are very challenging?
Here is the GEM: no matter what circumstances we are in, we are still to rejoice, pray and give thanks. You may be asking, WHAT? It is about our mindset in the circumstances. The modern expression is “in the moment”. As we faithfully serve God, He hasn’t changed, it is the circumstances that have changed and He is still with us. The promise of no more difficult circumstances is when we are in heaven with Him. While here on earth, we are to remember Him and rejoice, pray and thank Him for being with us through the good and the bad. Heaven will then become that much sweeter.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
