GEMS from HEAVEN
Most of us, we love our parents or family which becomes a motivating factor in our lives to achieve. We want to be worthy of them because of that love they have for us and we for them. We then are willing to face whatever challenges that befalls us.
Here is the GEM: Jesus teaches us that if we want to truly live, we must love Him more. That more love for Him becomes the motivation for us to take up the cross of sometimes suffering; the cross that is filled with hope, joy and worth; and the cross of always sacrificing our lives for His way. It is there He promises us that we will find life. We will become more than what we were without Him. This goes to show that we are not truly living until we live for the one who died for us. So, praise be to God for His great love for us in providing true life in His Son. Follow the Christ and live.
"He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. "And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. "He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.
